♥ drop everything & read.

nick sent me an email today with a link to this tumblr, bookshelf porn,
with the disclaimer, "not actually, porn, you'll see..."
little does he know how wrong he was!!

i love books something fierce and have often joked that my dream-
bachelorette party will be held in a used book store where i can fondle
books to my heart's delight in public while all of my friends watch!
it's so wrong & so right.

are we friends on goodreads?

9 ♥ love notes.:

  1. Bookshelf porn! Love it! This is SUCH a cute post! That first image is great. I'm definitely going to focus more on "dropping everything to read" in this new year. Happy holidays :)

  2. This is so awesome. I love books something fierce too. I am going to start reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo once I give sufficient time and attention to my blog.

Then, it will be "Goodbye" to the real world. Because "Book World" is so much better.

    Best wishes,

  3. Oh, I'm with you. I'm having separation anxiety that I need to get rid of books while packing. Serious anxiety! It's like choosing children. I'd say that I'd help you browse at the Brookline Booksmith next week, but I'm afraid I'd adopt more books. Not a good option. Oh, and have a Merry Christmas. Looking forward to seeing you next week!

  4. 'in a used book store where i can fondle books to my heart's delight in public while all of my friends watch' - if that ever happens, there better be a video of it! ;)

  8. Oh my gosh! I am so glad to read that there is someone else who enjoys 'book porn' as much as I do. I literally go into a bookstore (or library) every day to browse and get inspired. I carry at least one book and magazine with me at all times. All I asked for Christmas were books.

Cheers to many more chic reads in 2011, xo
