a horse is a horse,
(of course, of course)
but normal horses got nothin' on
the beautiful, delicate seahorse:
which when it chooses a mate,
is said to change color,
dance tail to tangled tail with,
& swim side by side with
his true love.
not only that,
but it is the male seahorse
who carries and gives birth to baby seahorses,
(the female deposits her egg into his front pouch)
and is thought to remain in love
his whole fishy life.
