when i was in highschool, i painted my nails every day to match
my outfit. this summer, i have been enjoying a similar renaissance-
( although with much less frequency & detail. )

You're so good! I rarely paint my nails, and I'm even worse at keeping them done. I start picking at polish immediately then walk around for weeks with the chipped remains.
