here are some final pictures from our short weekend trip to new orleans.

our hotel room was off. the. chains, i broke out some of my favorite summer frocks,

 and the world war II museum was a lovely way to spend a summer afternoon day

with family. i am no history buff-- but the presence of real veterans, swing dancing

 classes, interactive films & exhibits, and incredible number of planes

 made for an interesting, unforgettable experience.
