♥ something old.

i know, technically i am supposed to be on my honeymoon with my computer 

closed for the remainder of the week-- but i cannot resist sharing pictures 

of my wedding dress with you. 

i found it on etsy about a month after i got engaged, and fell instantly in 

love with the puffy tulle skirt, the low back, the perfectly intact rhinestones hidden

 within the fluffy neckline, and the idea that some bride from a completely different 

era also wore it on the happiest day of her life. 

the dress came from vintage sellers, timeless vixen, and traveled in the teeniest box 

from california all the way to my home in massachusetts. i knew i was taking a chance 

buying it sight unseen, with only the measurements and the assurance of the sellers to go by-

but as soon as i slipped the dress on, saying a silent prayer as the zipper slid into place, 

i knew that it was meant to be. the dress fit like a glove and was everything that

i could have ever dreamed a wedding dress could be.
