i recently re-watched the blog-revering film julie & julia (2009),
and was completely inspired by julia & her husband paul's valentine's day
dinner in the film. bedecked with big, red paper hearts and surrounded
by loved ones, mr. child lovingly declares:
"you are the butter to my bread,
the breath to my life."
in real life, julia and her husband paul were true romantics, sending
lovey dovey valentine's day cards, which "had become a tradition of ours,
born of the fact that we could never get ourselves organized to send out
christmas cards." julia child, my life in france.
isn't love grand?
i'm really liking your blog. great design taste! though, i'm not a big valentine's day fan
