whoever said feathers were just "for the birds" never stood behind
a girl on the train with a feather extension in her hair.
no sooner had i spotted this mysteriously speckled strand of specially dyed hair
within her ponytail, then the train hauled to a stop and let us out before
i had the chance to ask her what it was and
where i could get it done?
it was not until i saw ashley's post this morning that
it all made sense: feather hair extensions.
so, now with one mystery solved- i still need to figure out
where i can go to have this done to my hair immediately.
You know I would never kill an oversized kitty for my own coat, right? But if it already died for my grandma, I might as well put it to good use. There - that about sums up my stance on vintage fur. :)
ReplyDeleteMore on topic, I saw Ashley's post too, and I'm kind of obsessed. Do it!
Yowza! I adore this! I'm definitely from the subtle side of the street but in saying that, I adore that third pic of the brunette girl! Just gorg!

You know me and Birds Sami....I'm not so sure about this! However, I know you could totally rock it out!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool...
ReplyDeleteDoes it work on curly hair?

I got mine while in California - they're a lot more prominent out there. But it was from an Aveda salon, so maybe try calling some of those? I also got tweeted by this company http://www.hairfeather.com/ who sells them online. They're super easy to put in. Go for it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the shoutout!
xo, Ashley
um LOVE!! can't wait to see once you get one!!
ReplyDeleteTotally fun way to shake things up. I wonder how much this costs and whether it could work as a DIY project.....
