california-based ice cream company, sweet lucie's originated out of one pregnant woman's 

frustration with not being able to find  the perfect organic ice cream.

after taking a famous ice-cream course and tons of experimentation, 

owner geri czaco came up with something magical- and sweet lucie

 was born (the business and her daughter!)

i don't know what i love most about this company-

the fact that they are a wife/husband/ baby team-

the 1959 ice cream truck & vintage italian ice cream

 from which they serve their delicious treats,

or their completely recyclable & compostable cups & spoons-

but i can tell right now, although i have not tasted

that organic cookies and cream yet -

i can already tell:

i love lucie's.
