a while back, i was visiting with my mama at my family's house
and we were in her bedroom, talking. i looked down at my parent's bed,
where she has artfully arranged a row of old teddy bears, and i thought to myself
that i am so close with my mom, and yet i do not know anything about
what she keeps at her bedside, or what she sees the first moment
she wakes up. it's interesting that we can be so close
and yet never know these tiny every day details
about one another.
i recently stumbled across the blog, i lay my hat and wish to stay,
and was happy to find that it addresses the very same questions i was asking-
but in picture format. featuring "homes where we like to rest our weary heads,"
this blog is like eye candy for those who are interested in
seeing the way other people live.
how neat! i'm always interested in seeing other people's homes. when i was in college, i wished i could see inside everyone's dorm rooms, to see how they arranged and decorated the same boring space that we were all stuck with. but i didn't want to be a creeper... :P
