♥ running is the greatest metaphor for life because you get out of it what you put into it.

tomorrow afternoon i will join the crowd
of hundreds and hundreds of screaming fans to
watch my very best friend, carolyn run in

i am so proud of her and so excited that
this day that she has been preparing for
in rain and snow and icy cold
has finally arrived.

    [fingers in ears] LALALALALA NOT LISTENING!!! I'm so jealous. Marathon Monday one of my favorite days of the year in Boston. I have so many great college memories of standing at the bottom of heartbreak hill and cheering on the marathoners!
