i was recently contacted by the creative director behind the iou project,

a unique design project which has been two years in the making and

is finally set to launch at the end of the month (!!)

based on a completely innovative design initiative, the iou project wishes

simply "to produce a line of totally unique clothing that would be cool & casual,

but no matter how many people bought an item no two would ever be

the same..." the designers will do this by collecting hand-crafted lungis,

which have been woven in india, and re-working them into something

eco-friendly, cost efficient, and most importantly, one of a kind.

i cannot wait to see more,
