according to peggy, her art work often begins by literally

putting the best face forward, and letting everything else fall into

place around it. she first discovered she had a talent for drawing

when she was 18, but went to school to pursue a career in fashion design

instead. when her professor told her that she seemed like more of an

artist/illustrator than a designer, she took it to heart and has

been freelance illustrating ever since.

she counts nature, fashion, design and films as her inspiration,

as well as the work of grace coddington, miuccia prada

and yohji yamamoto- but says inspiration usually stems

from her mood as well.
