♥ most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure.

although i'm a fashion blogger- i must admit that i get embarrassed about 

having my picture taken. i never seem to know what i am supposed to do with my 

hands in a picture (!!?!)  and i generally feel badly asking anyone to take pictures 

of me for too long without being accused of being vain.

at camera ready boot camp, we were each lucky enough to get a few portraits 

taken of each of us by the lovely & talented kate drew miller. 

i waited until the very end to go, hoping my nervousness would wear off as i

watched everyone go up and bravely face the camera. 

when it appeared there was no one left to take a picture of but me, 

i grabbed a petite pollen bouquet & posed! kate was so much fun to work 

with, that my self-consciousness disappeared in seconds, and my

ridiculous faces came out right away. if only she could take my outfit

 pictures every day..♥
