happy friday, my darling doves!
this week, i would like to share a few of my favorite outfits which
masterfully mix the tough and rough with the soft, the leather with the lace,
and all the while celebrate the youthful spirit that lies in
all of us grown up children.
first, i have to say that i absolutely adore this photograph from
taylor of sterling style. not only for the playfulness of the composition,
but also for the way that her pretty pink tutu adds a touch of femininity
to an otherwise edgy look. bravo!
secondly, for a while now, i have been quite taken with this perfectly
captured moment snapped by the boston sartorialist,
martini of beyond boston chic.
i am smitten with this young lady's tutu + striped shirt getup
as well as her mother's relaxed, sienna miller–esque ensemble.
i aspire to look that casual and cool some day...
(but i always prefer to look glamorous!)
in almost all of her pictures, she rocks these itsy bitsy skirts
and girly dresses with chain necklaces, studded bags and
spiky rings and lots of smokey black eye makeup.
fabulous juxtaposition!
that pic of the little girl is way too adorable - oh to be as relaxed-chic as her mom!!
ReplyDeletei think i'm going to start wearing breton stripes and tutus. one of my all-time favorite BBC pics!
ReplyDeletei agree with you girls, the mom and her daughter's outfit rock! martini got such a perfect shot! i am thinking of making it a mid year's resolution of mine to dress in a way that looks more "relaxed" hahaa althought i am sure that will never happen!
