she realized, with great delight,
that one does not love one's children just because they are one's children,
but because of the friendship formed while raising them.
i know that it may sound cliché,
but i can honestly say that my mom is my bestfriend.
so today, i am celebrating this pink lipstick–wearing cookie queen,
who puts love and sparkles into everything she does.
