a few months back, i spotted a post on garance dore about
denise porcaro and her adorable shop, flower girl,
which is located within the earnest sewn denim store
new york's lower east side.
a self-proclaimed, "flower stylist" denise got her start making
freelance flower arrangements and bouquets for select friends
and clients while in film school studying production design.
i love the rustic, old time herbal remedy- feel of her shop,
which reminds me so much of a the flower shop audrey hepburn's
character, eliza doolittle, imagined working at in my fair lady (1964).
thing that rivals her flower fashions? so much so,
that she's been featured in vogue more than once!
I would love to get my flowers in there. Even fancier flowers!! :)SarahD
