♥ flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere.

a few months back, i spotted a post on garance dore about
denise porcaro and her adorable shop, flower girl,
which is located within the earnest sewn denim store
new york's lower east side.

a self-proclaimed, "flower stylist" denise got her start making
freelance flower arrangements and bouquets for select friends
and clients while in film school studying production design.

i love the rustic, old time herbal remedy- feel of her shop,
which reminds me so much of a the flower shop audrey hepburn's
character, eliza doolittle, imagined working at in my fair lady (1964).

ps. did i mention also that denise's personal style is the only
thing that rivals her flower fashions? so much so,
that she's been featured in vogue more than once!

3 ♥ love notes.:

  1. I would love to get my flowers in there. Even fancier flowers!! :)SarahD

  2. I love flowers, the fancy ones are nice too... great snaps.

That was really funny and oddly telepathic posting the same shoot!!! ha ha!

  3. This was such a lovely post. She is beautiful. :)

    Love from Toronto, Canada
