♥ there is more treasure in books than all the pirate's loot on treasure island...

...and best of all, you can enjoy these riches every day of your life.
walt disney

if you have ever seen the film, amelie (2001), you may remember that she
falls in love with a fellow who constructs an entire album out of stranger's
rejected photo booth pictures.

i just love the concept of collecting fragments of other people's lives
and making something beautiful from it. for this reason alone,
i am captivated by this website, which compiles a number of
treasures buried within the pages of second hand books.

12 ♥ love notes.:

  1. wow that library card really brings back memories of going to the library and checking out books. oh such a simple process wasn't it...and the card catalog! I saw Amelie but it was so long ago...may need to see it again

  5. I love finding random things in library books and thinking about who the last person was to have it. Maybe I should start leaving mysterious things of my own.
