i might be a little late to the game with this one-- but i have recently become

totally obsessed with beyonce's new album (espesh her latest release, xo!)

mostly, i am obsessed with the erickson beamon chain charm necklace

that she wears with an assortment of chunky chokers 

and chains in the music video.

it's just too good.

the only thing that isn't good about it is the price & the fact that it's sold out!

luckily, i have come up with an inexpensive way to achieve

yesterday marked the launch of karen walker's latest visible collection,

a campaign which "aims to highlight, celebrate & acknowledge."

partnering with the ITC ethical fashion initiative, whose motto is "not charity, just work,"

walker gave both work & modeling opportunities to artisans from disadvantaged areas

of kenya- having them produce the very pouches the glasses will come in and

giving them a chance to sell some of their more intricately beaded

pouches as well. 

i just love how everyone looks in the oversized sunnies and how
modern & different they look in contrast with their green environment.
