yesterday, boston lost a fashion legend.

miss marilyn riseman passed away at

the ripe young age of 86.

i have seen marilyn at many parties, and have always been taken with just how

 teeny she was, and how carefully her kabuki makeup & black bob were

 styled. and did i mention her impeccable way she dressed?

my bff, timothy, once told me that i will look like her 

when i grow up. here's hoping!

and though i have not seen her in 12 years a slave,
this speech & her colorful style have me
smitten as well.
